Checklist for Pilgrims Doesn’t miss the Points.

1) Please carry a photo Id and proof of the address along with you and If Possible can carry BSNL and Airtel SIM.
2) Do carry sufficient light woolens from May to Aug and heavy woolens from Sept to Nov.
3) Carry a good Doctor Consulted First Aid Box.
4) Carry good walking shoes: - canvas or sport shoes.
5) If you wish you can carry dry eatables with you like biscuits, snacks, and chocolates etc.
6) Always hire registered pony, Kandi, and porter.
7) Move slowly and steadily and give the driver enough time for rest.
8) Please carry umbrella/ Raincoat and one torch.
9) Carry sufficient money to pay for your personal expenses.
10) It is advisable to carry your own personal medical kit.
11) Avoid carrying heavy jewelry during the Yatra.
12) Don’t use soap while bathing/ washing clothes in the river.
13) Don’t throw wrappers/poly bags on the road or in the forest during the journey.
14) Don’t carry poly bags as it is banned in Uttarakhand.

Important Points about Chardham Yatra which should be known

* A/c will not work in the car, on Hilly areas due to atmospheric Condition.
* In case of any uncertain/unwanted circumstances like bad weather or landslide etc. The company will reschedule the itinerary accordingly. But, in that case, the guest has to pay for extra expenses for food, accommodation, car rental for extra days or anything which is already booked/ arranged by the company.
* Company is not responsible if, there will be any kind of sudden maintenance problems such as electricity or water or any other inside the Hotel Premises, the company will try to resolve the problem with the help of Hotel owner and staff.
* After Confirming Helicopter tickets, company is not responsible for any kind of discrepancy happened at the end of the Helicopter Company. Like cancellation due to bad weather and any Governments ruling etc.
* Extra expenses other than the planned itinerary will be bear by the client on their own. Such as medical related problem, an extra meal in between journey or whatever is not mentioned in the itinerary, Hotels other than book one. Sightseeing which is out of the way of Chardham Yatra will cost extra.
